Worksheets

We know the importance of having the right resources to help you plan your personal financial goals and stay on track to achieving them. So, for your convenience, we’ve provided three different worksheets for you to download and use at home. You can personalize these to help you better achieve your savings, debt management and overall financial goals.

Goals Worksheet

Successful debt management and financial planning requires you to determine short or long term goals for you and your family. To help plan those, use our goals worksheet to outline what your financial priorities are and how you would like to achieve them. We’ve also incorporated the S.M.A.R.T. plan for goal-setting so that you can ensure your goals are specific, measurable, action-oriented, realistic, and have timelines.

Budget

One of the best ways to ensure you achieve the financial goals you have set for yourself is to create a budget plan that is clearly outlined and written down. To start planning your family budget, start by filling out our comprehensive budgeting worksheet. Using this helpful tool, you will get a detailed breakdown of your expenses, what you are budgeting, and how much you’re actually spending, so you can better determine if you are meeting your budget limits. This will then enable you to determine where you might want to reduce some expenses to help you reduce your debt faster, or meet other financial goals.

Bi-weekly Paycheque Planner

Having determined your budget, you can then plan your spending with our bi-weekly paycheque planner worksheet to stay on track. Use this form to list your necessary expenses, like credit card and utility bills by their due date, as they correspond with your payday. This will help you keep your mandatory monthly expenses noted as planned for their payment throughout the month. It can be expanded to include debt repayments, or maybe even savings, so you have a clear idea of what money is available for discretionary spending.
